Lombardy

Winegrowing areas and vineyards

The Oltrepò area enjoys a continental climate in which sea breezes from the south only have a minimal impact, thanks to the barrier offered by the Apennines.

Croatina is the grape variety most widely cultivated in these areas. It is a very robust, hardy vine with large, winged bunches and has been around since the Middle Ages. It yields wines with a very intense color, first and foremost Bonarda.

Tasting Notes

Our Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese can conquer every palate.

It has a fine and persistent mousse and is intense ruby-red in color. The nose offers an immediate hint of morello cherry with a red fruit finish. It is a fresh, harmonious, pleasant wine on the palate. It pairs ideally with flavorsome first courses, roasted red meats and game.
