Merlot Veneto I.G.T.
Veneto

Winegrowing areas and vineyards
Between Vicenza and Padua, in the Colli Berici area, lies the home of Merlot Veneto La Cacciatora: a hilly landscape interwoven with woods, vineyards and cultivated fields, it is dotted with small towns and Palladian villas.
This is an excellent terroir for great red wines thanks to the soils and altitude. The soils originate mainly from marly limestone, calcareous conglomerates, red clays and basaltic rocks of volcanic origin. The altitude of the vineyards – up to 500 metres a.s.l. – ties in with the pre-alpine system on the one hand while on the other hand it is influenced by the nearby Adriatic Sea, mitigating the extreme temperature ranges that occur not only seasonally but also in the day-night cycle.
Tasting Notes
Our Merlot Veneto is a luscious temptation.
Characterized by its ruby red color, the nose is intense with hints of violets and aromas of red fruit; on the palate it is soft and warm, with elegant tannins. Easy-drinking in style, it pairs perfectly with tasty, savory first courses and roasted red meats.
Unscrew, taste, save for later.
We make conscious and responsible choices for a greener future. We strive to act concretely to protect and enhance the character and spirit of our winegrowing areas.

The land offers and guides us to discover its fruits; our task is to protect this heritage every day and to continue to cultivate a taste for discovery.
