Siracusa and Avola are located in one of Sicily’s hottest areas.

Annual rainfall averages can fall below 300 mm and temperatures fall between 18-19°C: this is a rather challenging climate but it gives rise to very characterful wines with great elegance. Among them is Nero D’Avola Sicilia DOC, one of the most famous Italian reds, also known in California and Australia.

Tasting Notes

Our Nero D’Avola embodies the essence of southern Italy and of Sicily.

Deep ruby red with violet hues. The nose offers aromas of red fruits, plum, cherry and spices, and the palate is full, soft and has an excellent freshness. It is the ideal wine to accompany savory first courses and roasted red meats.
